"Through Her Eyes"is an invitational benefit art project. Participating artists around the world are creating works inspired by women survivors of war.
Who it Benefits
Commissions from sold works will benefit Women for Women International, a nonprofit organization that helps women in war-torn regions to rebuild their lives by offering financial and emotional support, job skills training, rights education, access to capital and assistance for small business development.
Women for Women International provides women survivors of war, civil strife and other conflicts with the tools and resources to move from crisis and poverty to stability and self-sufficiency, thereby promoting viable civil societies.
Since 1993, Women for Women International has served more than 90,000 women and distributed more than $38 million in direct aid and in microcredit loans to women in Afghanistan, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Colombia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Iraq, Kosovo, Nigeria, Rwanda, and most recently, the Sudan.
